The Type F ODX Driver is a general purpose isolated telecommunication interface or Line Isolation Unit used in conjunction with the public telephone network.
Transparent to duplex audio, DTMF and decadic dialling, the Type F also generates a sinusiodal ring output which is imposed on a DC loop current source. Extensive protection is provided against network and power mains-born transient and lighting impulses.
Connect to 2 wire Analogue line or Extension. Will Auto answer I/C calls and connect voice path to other equipment eg; PA Amplifier or Digital Message player. As required for "Spectrum" Service. This Model DISCONNECTS on five seconds of silence.
